Some people say you can't go home, but it's just not true in Amarillo. The opportunity for me to work for a few weeks in a local hospital happen to coincide with a multi year high school reunion October 6-7th. It was so nice to see all the people that made such an impact on our lives in high school. Some of us have remained close since grade school. We have spread across the U.S. and chosen varied professions, but the smiles across our faces never changed. We danced, laughed, stood together for multiple pictures to carry us until we find a time to meet again. Our hair and waist lines may of changed but not the memories. Group pictures showed that we still remember school spirit no matter the year you graduated. It seemed a good time to have a book signing for Archidamus. Barnes and Noble accommodated me so that I could present my newest release to my hometown. There were people waiting when I arrived and they continued to stop, ask questions and buy Archidamus. Amarillo has much to offer from beautiful sunrises to sunsets. The people are friendly and the town is growing. If you happen to be driving down I-40 and have some extra time, stop, eat, shop and enjoy the hospitality of my hometown.
